This e-service is for individuals who are engaged in economic activity in the Kingdom. Upon registration, a VAT account number will be generated.

After ZATCA approves the application for registration of the group, the group is treated as one person for VAT purposes, without prejudice to the joint liability of each group member. This e-service also provides facilities to register as a group through the portal of the ZATCA.

These include carbonated drinks, energy drinks, sweetened beverages, electronic smoking devices and similar products, liquids used in such devices, as well as tobacco and its derivatives.
