The Governor’s Message​​

Praise be to Allah and may blessings and peace be upon His messenger,

Knowing the importance of its role in Saudi Arabia’s economic and social development, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) endeavors to improve its performance by developing its provided services and raising the efficiency of its staff.
Furthermore, ZATCA aims to support taxpayers to fulfill their duties in the field of zakat, tax and customs, facilitate trading, make the Kingdom a global logistics center by providing them with all the necessary tools and resources, and raising awareness about tax and customs compliance. As well as utilizing technology to develop the electronic services, media, and facilitate the procedures and forms in accordance with laws and regulations. 
Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdu​laziz, and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ZATCA puts the public and citizen service as its priority. The authority is playing a vital role in Vision 2030, and the Fiscal Balance Program; by developing its sectors to create highly skilled opportunities for citizens working in zakat, tax, and customs fields, organizing the procedures that help diversifying the Kingdom’s economy, and protecting our national security. 
We, at ZATCA, always welcome opinions and suggestions, which would help provide the excellent services to the community.

His Excellency Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi is currently the Governor of Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority since May 2021. He has held several leadership positions, including Governor of the General Authority for Zakat and Tax, Deputy Minister of Internal Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce, Advisor to the Minister of Commerce, General Supervisor of Qawaem Program, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayan Credit Bearue.​
