Purpose of Forming the Advisory Committee
ZATCA wants to form an advisory committee to assist it in giving advice and
recommendations in the areas of Zakat and Tax, as well as activities related
to customs work and logistics, in a way that supports sustainability of
improvement and development and anticipates future trends, to become a model
in its management of Zakat, Tax and Customs and its adoption of global best
practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Committee shall exercise its work in its capacity as an advisory body
subordinate to the Governor and shall have the following:
1. Contribute to the review of recommendations and submit proposals
that achieve ZATCA's strategic objectives.
2. Discuss topics and proposals received from ZATCA's partners and
taxpayers related to any new changes or policies that ZATCA wishes to
adopt.
3. Provide opinions and instructions on opportunities and challenges in
topics related directly or indirectly to the competences of ZATCA locally,
regionally and internationally, and everything that would contribute to the
development of all areas related to ZATCA.
4. Any other tasks assigned to it by the Governor.
