Deregistration of the Tax Identification Number (TIN) is an e-service that allows users to deregister their TIN
if their business is no longer eligible to pay Zakat or taxes in KSA.
This covers deregistration of Zakat and all other taxes, which indicates that users have ceased to carry out any economic activity and/or cease to exist as a legal entity. Upon cancellation of the Commercial Register, the TIN will be automatically deactivated in certain cases.

Service Steps

  1. 1- Log into ZATCA website, and go to the 'E-services" tab and choose “General services".
  2. ​2- Go to “Amend\Registration cancellation" tab.
  3. 3- Select “Deregister for TIN".
  4. 4- Select “Deregister reason.
  5. 5- Fill the form and submit the request.
  6. 6- You will receive a notification when you TIN is deregistered from our system

This E-service can be used to submit requests for interpretative decisions to request an opinion from ZATCA on the interpretation of the provisions of the tax laws and regulations applicable within the Kingdom (Value Added Tax, Income Tax and Withholding tax) and the mechanism for their application to transactions related to the applicant's activity. This shall be in accordance with the conditions and controls set out in the Interpretative Decisions Guidelines.
