Vehicle Import for Individuals

It is an e-service that allows citizens and resident individuals to directly import vehicles from outside the Kingdom through customs ports, without the need for a customs broker.

Important Notes:
- Additional fees may apply if the vehicle's efficiency and age do not meet the criteria.
- The vehicle must be inspected at an accredited center by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in the following cases:
           -If the distance traveled exceeds 1,000 km.
           -If the vehicle's data is not registered with the Saudi Standards Metrology & Quality Organization.

Service Steps

​​​​Login to ZATCAs website 
Go to “E-services” then “Customs Services”
Select “Vehicle Import Service for Individuals
Enter the vehicles chassis number and its details.
Fill in the import details
Attach the required documents
Submit request
For Importing from a Land Port:
   -Import declaration
   -Export certificate or vehicle ownership document
   -Statistical declaration
   -An option to either authorize a carrier for the vehicle or personally drive the vehicle to the port.

For Importing from a Sea Port:
   -Bill of lading
   -Export certificate or vehicle ownership document
   -Authorize a carrier to transport the vehicle.
