The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) invites all zakat payers to pay their zakat through the Zakaty App, or through its website dedicated to this service. Both the app and the website help calculate all due zakat types, be it money, gold, silver, shares, etc. The services also allow for zakat payment in a reliable, easy and fast manner, as invoices issued for each transaction. Zakat payers can also benefit from the feature of Zakat date reminders.

ZATCA stated that the zakat received through the zakat application has so far exceeded more than 388 million riyals since its launch five years ago, and stressed that the zakat received through the service is used for the social security beneficiaries registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD). The funds are then distributed directly to the selected categories through the application.

ZATCA added that the service is always available through the Zakaty smart phone application, where zakat payers can pay zakat safely and reliably in banks, SADAD, "Apple Pay" or MADA, in addition to other safe methods that ensure the speed and flexibility of Zakat delivery to the eligible categories. The services also allows choosing the eligible categories of social security registrants, most notably: families most in need of housing, families of divorced women, family of prisoners and other eligible categories.

It is noteworthy that Zakaty service has witnessed a great and increasing interaction among individuals since its launch, in addition to the increase in downloads for Zakaty application, because it is user friendly and flexible as well as fast and provides quick and safe payment options.
