On Wednesday 22, May 2024, Jadidat Arar Land Port in its northern province receives the first mission of pilgrims arriving from neighboring Republic of Iraq, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at the Port focuses on providing the best services to Guests of Allah (Pilgrim Experience Program) with ease and convenience by providing integrated potentials.
ZATCA official spokesperson, Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that ZATCA has completed its preparations since early in Jadidat Arar Land Port, through a system of customs services that contribute to facilitating the entry procedures for pilgrims arriving from the neighboring Republic of Iraq, through the port's pilgrims lounge, which is located on an area of 9000 square meters and accommodation card exceeding 20 thousand pilgrims and more than 400 buses per day, ZATCA has allocated 68 Counter Passports, as well as 6 designated areas for conducting detection and inspection operations in addition to health facilities to provide health services from the Ministry of Health and all related security sectors, to unify efforts and achieve joint work, which contributes to the quality of the provided services.
Al-Harbi noted that ZATCA seeks to achieve the best customs services for the pilgrims of Beit Allah al-Haram through its operational plan for the Hajj season and through all land, sea and air customs ports of the country. This is in line with the objectives of the wise leadership-Ma Allah support it-, which include making it easier for the guests of Allah to enter the Kingdom and offering them all necessary services until their safe departure. In line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's global stature, which was dignified and honored by Allah by embracing the cleanest and holiest places over the Earth.
