The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has received the 5-star accreditation certificate for institutional Excellence from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), which is globally considered the key reference in evaluating the institutional excellence. Since that, ZATCA has become the first and highest entity across the Kingdom that achieves this accomplishment for the entire organization according to the new model, which highlights its endeavors of applying the most significant local and international standards and concepts of the institutional excellence, in line with Saudi vision 2030.
ZATCA has received this elevated accreditation on its excellence according to the globally pioneering approach for the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) through applying its authorized model, which is considered the most widespread worldwide. Moreover, meeting the model requirements is considered the most significant targets of the entities in institutional excellence field, whereby, it enables organization achieving distinguish business outcomes and higher and sustainable levels, in addition to contributing in improving the work environment and increasing labor productivity.
This accomplishment is considered as a culmination for the great endeavors achieved ZATCA during its journey towards achieving the organizational excellence and its quest for the constant improvement through activating one of its key strategic enablers “the operational excellence and expenditure efficiency". This in addition to its role in providing tools that ensure quality sustainability and organizational excellence through focusing on customers, partners and relevant entities' satisfaction, as well identifying the current and future trends, and developing and improving operations and services.
