In collaboration with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced today the launch of an educational curriculum book on accounting and taxation entitled “Zakat and Tax According to the Latest Laws and Legislations in KSA". This announcement was during the meeting that took place today at ZATCA's headquarter between ZATCA and the University and in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Suhail bin Mohamed Abanmi the Governor of ZATCA, and Her Excellency Dr. Enas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa the president of the university.
In this regard, ZATCA highlighted that it is expected to provide copies of the book to all the governmental universities in KSA in the upcoming period to be available as a reference for all students and anyone interested in such fields. ZATCA and the university are exerting strenuous efforts to find well-qualified capabilities in the fields of Zakat and Tax.
The announcement of this new book comes in line with the agreement concluded between ZATCA and the University and within their ongoing partnership that aims at developing specialized academic programs in KSA to enhance workforce in KSA, qualify graduates to work in the fields of Zakat and Tax. This is in addition to developing postgraduates program entitled (Master of Science in Taxation and Tax Accounting) in which enrollment became available for students and to develop a specialization within the Bachelor of Accounting named (Zakat and Tax Path) at the University.
