The initiative operates by facilitating customs procedures, achieving effective cooperation and continuous coordination with the entities serving Hajj, unifying efforts and creating collaborative work to ensure the success of Hajj season plan and realize the kingdoms' vision concerning serving pilgrims.
During the Exhibition, ZATCA presented the "Pilgrimage without Bag" initiative and its positive impact on Hajj especially after it was put on hold during the Covid-19 pandemic, in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The initiative contributed to improving the quality of services provided to the pilgrims, and providing comfort and safety to the visitors. In addition, the initiative helped reduce the time of baggage transfer and customs procedures and enhance the positive image of the Kingdom.
