​​​​​​Director General of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) Ibrahim bin Mohamed Al Mufleh chaired the 13th meeting for the Heads of Zakat departments in the GCC countries, held in Mecca on Wednesday and Thursday 16/17/2/1438 AH. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mufleh welcomed the heads of Zakat departments and their accompanying delegation.

During the first day, the agenda was discussed and the proper recommendations were approved. On the second day, the delegations paid a visit to the GAZT branch in Mecca where they were accompanied by GAZT Deputy Director General Saad Al Saedan. General Manager of the branch Mr. Abdullah bin Houtan Al Nefeai briefed the delegations on the work mechanisms at the Mecca branch. 

At the end of the meeting, the delegations extended their thanks and appreciation to Mr. Al Mufleh for his efforts and good management of sessions which positively affected the outcome of the meeting. 

They also thanked Mr. Mohammed Taher Al Qattan, Bahrain’s Director of Religious Affairs for his invitation to hold the 14th meeting, slated for 2017, in Bahrain.
