​Mr. Al-Khowaiter is the Chairman of the Professional Quality Monitoring Committee of the Certified Public Accountants. He held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee at SOCPA, the Executive and Financial Chairman of the Advanced Electronics Company, and the Chairman of the Advanced Arabian Simulation Company. He has several previous and current memberships, including in the Board of Directors of the Saudi Navigation Company, the Board of Directors of the Saudi Bin Laden Group Company, the Board of Directors of Jadwa Investment Company, and the IFRS Transformation Team, and participated in several audit committees.

Mr. Al-Khowaiter earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Saud University, and passed the American Accountants Fellowship.​
