Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah was able to thwart a number of attempts to smuggle more than 2 kilograms of cocaine and 878 grams of heroin.
ZATCA stressed that it continuously intend to tighten customs control over imports and exports of the Kingdom, and stands against the attempts by smugglers and carry out the continuous coordination and cooperation with its partners in General Directorate of Narcotics Control, with a view of achieving security of the society and protecting it from these pests.
ZATCA called on all people to contribute to anti-smuggling to protect society and the national economy by contacting thereon the number allocated to security reports (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa ) or the international number (00966114208417) Through these channels, ZATCA receives reports related to smuggling offences and breaches of the provisions of the Common Customs Law in strict confidentiality, granting a financial reward to the whistleblower if the report information is correct.
