Dr. Al Salman is the Chairman of the Accounting Department at the College of Economics and Administration at Qassim University. He is a member of the audit committees of some companies.
Dr. Al-Salman holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the College of Economics and Administration, King Saud University, Qassim Branch, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting from St. Louis University, USA, and a Ph.D. in accounting from Florida Atlantic University, USA.
He has published a number of scientific papers and has written books on financial statement analysis as well as on advanced financial accounting.
Dr. Al-Salman is interested in some areas of accounting such as analysis of financial reports and financial performance of companies, IFRS, quality of financial reports and profit management, judicial accounting and financial fraud, and the development of accounting education.
