He is a Deputy Chairman of the Shariah Committee at Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority and Deputy Governor of Legal Affairs and Licensing at Water & Electricity Regulatory Authority.
He was a Deputy Minister for Enforcement at the Ministry of Justice, Head of the Advisory Department at Bank Albilad and a Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Commerce. In addition to his memberships in the Office for Settlement of Commercial Disputes and Installment Sale Violations Committee, leading to his work in legal and Sharia consultations.
He earned a master's degree in comparative law from the Higher Institute for the Judiciary, an MBA, Master of Business Administration, from Al-Yamamah University, a Diploma in International Finance from Washington State University, and got a Bachelor degree in Sharia, from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
