Dr. Fawaz Abdulaziz Alsulaim serves as the Deputy Governor for Research and Zakat Advisory at the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, as well as the Secretary-General of the Sharia Committee of the Authority.
With almost 12 years of experience in academia, Alsulaim was an Assistant Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence at Qassim University and as General Manager of Zakat Advisory at ZATCA.
Alsulaim holds a master's and doctorate degree in Comparative Jurisprudence from the Higher Judicial Institute and a bachelor's degree in Islamic law from Qassim University, as well as other specialized training courses.​
