ZATCA Invites Taxpayers to Submit VAT Declarations of November

20 December 2022

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) called upon taxpayers in the business sector who are subject to the value-added tax , whose annual supplies of goods and services are over SAR 40 million, to submit their tax declarations for last November, no later than the 31st of current December.

ZATCA urged taxpayers in the business sector to quickly submit their tax declarations via the website (zatca.gov.sa) or to submit them and pay through its ZATCA App for smartphones, in order to avoid a fine of 5%, at minimum, for failure to submit the declaration within the specified deadline, and 25%, at maximum, of the tax value that the taxpayer should have declared.

ZATCA called taxpayers in the business sector wishing to obtain more information regarding VAT to contact it via the Unified Call Center number (19993), which operates 24/7, or the “Ask ZATCA" Account on Twitter (@Zatca_Care), e-mail (info@zatca.gov.sa), or through instant conversations via ZATCA's website (zatca.gov.sa).

VAT is a tax law in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is an indirect tax imposed on all goods and services that are bought and sold by establishments, with some exceptions.
