The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has concluded its participation in the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition, which took place at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center for four days, with the participation of many real estate developers, individuals interested in the real estate sector and the financing companies in the Kingdom.

The Authority's participation in the exhibition aims to highlight everything that matters in the Real State Transactions Tax (RETT), including transactions that are subject to the tax or exempt from the tax, clarifying the difference between RETT and VAT, and reviewing the most significant recent amendments to the RETT Regulation.

The Authority has also reviewed the services provided by the RETT Platform, which is available via its website and allows users to register their real estate and pay the tax due as a necessary step before the property is conveyed or the contract is documented. It also included answering visitors' questions, as well as reviewing the frequently asked questions concerning the RETT.

ZATCA's participation at the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition is part of its efforts to enhance communication with stakeholders and exchange experiences at events, exhibits, and conferences focusing on Zakat, Tax, and Customs.
