ZATCA Launches Licensing for the Customs Consulting Profession

​​The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced that individuals interested in the customs consulting field can now apply for a license to practice the profession, in accordance with a set of requirements and regulations designed to elevate the standards of customs consulting and enhance the efficiency and quality of services provided.
ZATCA explained that applications for the Customs Consulting License can be submitted by visiting the E-Services page on  ZATCA’s website (zatca.gov.sa), noting that applicants must meet all conditions and criteria required to obtain the license.
Through this initiative, ZATCA aims to develop and advance the customs consulting profession in a way that ensures customers benefit from reliable and accurate guidance. This contributes to improved compliance with customs-related regulations, including Customs Tariff, Customs Valuation, Rules of Origin, and other related procedures. It also supports trade facilitation objectives and strengthens the overall efficiency of the customs ecosystem, paving the way toward fully integrated customs services aligned with ZATCA’s strategic goals of facilitating trade and positioning Saudi Arabia as a global logistics hub.
