The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has launched a public consultation on the draft policy for the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program through the "Istitlaa" platform. This initiative aims to enable the public and stakeholders to provide their feedback and suggestions on the project, aligning with ZATCA’s objective to improve and streamline the customer experience.

The proposed project includes amendments to the AEO program policy. Through these changes, ZATCA aims to facilitate trade for businesses that are part of the program and comply with the laws and regulations set by ZATCA, offering them benefits that simplify cross-border commercial operations.

ZATCA seeks public feedback to enhance the efficiency of the zakat, tax, and customs laws, contributing to higher levels of compliance and adherence, ensuring financial sustainability, supporting the national economy, and providing taxpayers and clients with the best possible experience.
