Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced the commencement of applications for Fresh Graduates Programs (Ameen and Binaa-Alkafaat). The application process starts on 12 June 2024 until 29 June 2024, and targets bachelor's and master's degree holders in 30 academic disciplines.
ZATCA made it clear that such Programs are offered for only one year, focusing, through this period, on building and developing knowledge and application capabilities of trainees in zakat, tax and customs basics, stressing that it is keen through these programs to attract distinguished competencies of fresh graduates from Saudi and international universities to join quality programs that contribute to enriching their theoretical and practical skills, and provide them with the opportunity for hands-on experience in a comprehensive work environment that enables them to master professional skills and appropriate customs sciences.
ZATCA indicated that Ameen Program targets graduates with bachelor's degree and provides them with training in two paths: Customs Inspection and K9. Meanwhile, Binaa-Alkafaat Program targets prominent fresh graduates with bachelor's and master’s degrees from Saudi and foreign universities.
The Programs, according to ZATCA, require the applicant to: (I) hold a bachelor's degree for Ameen Program, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4 or 3.5 out of 5, and a bachelor's or master's degree for the Binaa-Alkafaat Program, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4 or 4 out of 5; (II) not be employed or involved in any training program; (III) demonstrate good conduct & behavior, (IV) not exceed 25 years old for the bachelor's holders and 27 years old for the master’s holders at the time when applying for the program.
ZATCA stated that acceptance is conditional upon passing ZATCA personal interview, tests, medical examination, and approval and inspection stage, as well as proficiency in the English Language. Admission will be based on merit, and members of the programs will receive benefits such as monthly allowances and medical insurance.
