 With Full Capabilities, Customs Ports Continues Their Efforts to Receive and Serve the Pilgrims

The land, sea, and air ports continued their efforts to welcome and serve the guests of Allah entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals, with integrated capabilities that focused on operating the integrated customs services system with high efficiency.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) noted that through its operational plan during the Hajj season, it hopes to simplify the procedures for pilgrims on entering the Kingdom, accomplish effective cooperation and ongoing coordination with the relevant authorities to serve pilgrims, as well as to combine efforts and achieve complementary work in a way that contributes to raising the quality level of the services provided to the pilgrims.

ZATCA also added that it has proactively prepared to welcome the pilgrims, the guests of Allah, at its land, sea, and air ports, with a daily capacity exceeding 1,800 buses through the land customs ports. ZATCA also provides its services through more than 230 lanes designated for buses and cars and finalizing the customs procedures, and has set up over 10 model lounges that ZATCA has  equipped with comprehensive services to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims, the guests of Allah. Additionally, relevant authorities provide assistance at over 290 counters.

To ensure enhanced customs control, ZATCA has utilizes all available capabilities, including the latest security technologies and deployed more than 500 K-9 units (police dogs) across all its land, sea, and air ports.

It is worth mentioning that ZATCA pursues to offer pilgrims the best customs services. This is in line with the objectives of the wise leadership, which include making it easier for the guests of Allah to enter the Kingdom and offering them all services from their arrival to the Kingdom until their safe departure to their countries, and in alignment with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's esteemed global status, that Allah has awarded and blessed it with, as the Custodian of the holiest sites on earth.
