 ZATCA wins Best Initiative in “Supplier Relations Management” Award at CIPS 2024 Awards for Procurement & Supply Chains

The Zakat, Tax and Customs (ZATCA) won the award for the best initiative in supplier relationship management in the Middle East and North Africa, during the “CIPS MENA" conference for procurement and supply chains, hosted by the Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) in Riyadh, in the presence of an elite of specialists and decision-makers in the field of procurement and supply chains in the public and private sectors, and technical systems companies specialized in this field.

ZATCA won the award in the “Supplier Relationship Management" category for its initiative to create a portal that enables its suppliers to complete all ZATCA contractual relationship requirements in an electronic form through the portal, which contributes to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes, raising the quality of ZATCA projects and operational processes related to these projects, and achieving operational excellence, in addition to the role of this electronic portal in enhancing trust between ZATCA and all suppliers, reducing the time needed to complete all requirements during the contracting phase, in addition to its role in enhancing the quality of the data provided by suppliers.

ZATCA launches this initiative in the light of its continuous concern to apply the best practices in all areas of its zakat, tax and customs business, and its continuous strive towards continuous improvement, and raising the efficiency and quality of services provided in its various tasks, in a manner marked by efficiency and effectiveness, and achieving the requirements and aspirations of the satisfaction of its clients.

The “CIPS MENA" conference on procurement and supply chains, organized by the non-profit Chartered Institute, contributes to supporting knowledge in the field of procurement and supply chains, attracting specialized international bodies to exchange experiences and skills, and build partnerships in this field, where the Chartered Institute, which established in the United Kingdom, is one of the largest global professional organizations in the procurement and supply chain sector, and includes more than 70,000 members globally who seek to advance and excel in this sector.
