Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) participated in World Customs Organization (WCO) technology exhibition and conference, where its events have been held in Vietnam under the slogan “Embracing the digital age: Harnessing the technology, enhancing innovation and supporting the Future Generation of Professionals."

ZATCA's involvement included participation in three key dialogue sessions, focused on technological advancements in customs operations. During the fourth session of the conference, the Authority addressed how to benefit from database technologies in supporting customs operations and the key benefits they provide. In another session, ZATCA, shared its strategies for addressing training challenges, The final session addressed the role of data analysis in customs operations and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance compliance.

Through its participation, ZATCA aims to highlight the technical progress and expertise in harnessing data to expedite customs procedure. Furthermore, ZATCA seeks to enhance communication and exchange experiences and expertise with technical experts representing WCO member states across various customs domains.

 ZATCA participation at the WCO exhibition and conference aligns with its remarkable achievements across digital transformation in digital transformation, evident across its diverse operations and missions, as well the accelerated advancement in supporting facilitating the international trade endeavors, in order to empower the Kingdom to become an international logistic center.
