The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority took part in the second edition of the conference and exhibition "Seamless Saudi Arabia," which took place on September 4-5, under the theme "The future of retail, e-commerce, payments, and financial technology," with over 500 local and international companies and over 450 speaking experts.
Through its participation, the Authority highlighted the institutional importance and pivotal role of digital transformation in the development of the Authority's services, e-services, and digital solutions, reviewing their use of digitization and innovation in their business areas, and its role in achieving its vision of being a global model in the management of Zakat, taxes, and customs by achieving its strategic goals that focus on strengthening security, increasing compliance and commitment, supporting economic development, and facilitating trade with a focus on improving efficiency.
The Authority's participation also included a review of its website (zatca.gov.sa), the ZATCA Application, and the various digital services it offers, such as the Real Estate Transactions platform, as well as an introduction to the "Clearance within Two Hours" initiative and its role in facilitating trade and supporting the Kingdom's import and export environment.
The authority assessed its experience with e-invoicing, contributions to improving the consumer experience, and role in assisting efforts to combat the hidden economy.
The participation of the authority included the provision of instructions and user manuals to ensure ease of procedures and access to e-services, which contribute to increased tax compliance rates, reflect business efficiency, and effectively contribute to strengthening the national economy.
The exhibition serves as a communication and awareness platform for the authority's services, as well as its contributions to the Kingdom's digital transformation process and the continuous improvement of various tax and zakat services, with a focus on digitizing services and automating procedures in accordance with best standards and practices.
The exhibition focuses on the future of e-commerce, digital payments, and financial technology in the banking, retail, delivery services, and digital marketing sectors.
