ZATCA confirms continued services during Eid Al Fitr 2021

12 May 2021

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has confirmed that that it shall continue to provide its services during Eid Al Fitr holiday 1442 H in all its land, sea and air ports. The move is decided to ensure the execution of all the customs procedures for the entire imports and exports during the holiday. It also ensures the completion of customs procedures of all the arriving and departing vehicles, in order to facilitate trade exchange and ensure the smooth and flexible flow of imports and exports without affecting the period of completion of customs procedures relating to goods clearance.

The decision reflects the Authority's interest to continue customs operations in all aspects without any interruption, which helps with the provision of goods to consumers and advance the national economy.

On the other hand, ZATCA indicated that the business sector taxpayers may perform all their zakat and tax services using the e-portal (i.e. gazt.gov.sa) within the integrated e-services that are provided to all the establishments in order to facilitate the performance of their zakat and tax obligations, and simplify the procedures for their access to service and acceleration of their implementation to save time and efforts.

In the meantime, ZATCA invites taxpayers who wish to learn more about the zakat and tax services to reach out via the Customer Care Twitter account (@Gazt_care), its 24/7 call center hotline (19993), via e-mail (info@gazt.gov.sa), or by instant messages on ZATCA's website (gazt.gov.sa). ZATCA, however, receives customs inquiries on its 24/7 call center hotline (1918), the ASK SAUDI CUSTOMS Twitter account: (@AskSaudiCustoms, or by the e-mail designated for customs services: (Care@customs.gov.sa).
