The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) signed a cooperation agreement with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) in the field of training and rehabilitation on the use of live means, in the presence of HE the Governor of ZATCA Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi and HE Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Qarni Director General of GDNC.
From ZATCA, the agreement was signed by HE the Vice Governor for Security Affairs Mr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Nuaim, and from GDNC by Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Qarni.
The agreement aims at enhancing the existing cooperation between the two sectors and it is an effort to improve the level of coordination with regard to benefiting from the experience of ZATCA's National Center for Live Means, and the programs it provides to trainees, including operations, accommodation, and training processes, in addition to strengthening aspects of cooperation and effective partnership between them, which contributes to the achievement of common security goals.
ZATCA's National Center for Live Means is an entity for training live means specialists on many training programs, key of which is the program for detecting drugs, weapons, money, and tobacco, in addition to other programs offered by the Center to the security authorities, such as the Search and Rescue Program (Missing and Drowned), as well as the Attack and Protection Program (Search, Pursuit, Storming, and Counter-Terrorism).
