The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority signed a memorandum of understanding on tax administration on Monday, September 5, 2022, with the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary.
The memorandum was signed by H.E. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, the Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and Mr. Ference Fagogeli, Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, and Commissioner of the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary.
The memorandum discusses ways to cooperate in a variety of domains, most notably digital solutions, and reviews the experiences of both sides in tax applications. It also provides a broad framework for cooperation efforts in the sphere of tax administration between the two countries.
The MoU also facilitates experience-sharing, the use of technical and human resources, and joint coordination in the creation of training programs that benefit from best practices.
It is worth mentioning that the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is determined to strengthen its international strategic relationships in order to achieve its objectives of enhancing the tax system and enhancing its services.
