 ZATCA announces commencement of application for 5th edition of Capacity Building Program

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced launch of the 5th edition of Capacity Building Program (CBP) in collaboration with Wharton School. CBP aims to train the national fresh graduates in a professional work environment that develops their specialized professional knowledge and increases effective competition in the Kingdom's labor market.

CBP aims to qualify the Saudi and international universities' fresh graduates by developing their scientific and professional skills and providing practical application opportunity in an integrated workplace to compete for jobs in the public and private sectors.

ZATCA pointed out that CBP would be implemented by ZATCA Academy, which is concerned with developing knowledge and honing skills in management and regulation of Zakat, tax and customs. CBP qualifies graduates in a set of training tracks, most notably operations, legal affairs and compliance, research and Zakat consulting, analysis and risk, corporate communication and awareness, technology, as well as internal audit, engineering affairs, trade facilitation and customer experience.

CBP offers several training and financial incentives to the trainees, including, inter alia, attending training programs in collaboration with Wharton School, one of the top 10 leadership education institutions worldwide. CBP also offers medical insurance to the trainee and his family members, as well as registration in social insurance and annual leave. In addition, the trainee receives a monthly financial reward.

CBP's enrolment requirements include: being a Saudi national; holding a BA or MA degree in one of the specified disciplines with a GPA not less than (4 out of 5) or (3.20 out of 4) or an equivalent degree; the BA graduate must not be more than 25 years old, provided that no more than two years have lapsed since graduation; the MA graduate must not be more than 27 years old, provided that no more than one year has lapsed since graduation; the applicant must have passed one of the English language placement tests; devoting time for the one-year training; and passing the interview and admission tests.

Application for CBP can be submitted through the Recruiting Portal by clicking here, ZATCA stated, ZATCA Academy will begin receiving applications for CBP from the 27th of July until the 18th of next August, and besides, the results will be announced on the 8th of September, and the training will begin on the 16th of October of this year.
