His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Asir Region, has inaugurated the new headquarters of Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, at Al Badi neighborhood in Abha, in the presence of ZATCA Governor His Excellency Eng.. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi.
HRH Prince Turki toured the amenities of the facility, which is located on a 3,800 square metre plot and features a large reception room for taxpayers and clients of the Authority. This branch offers all of the Authority's services in the areas of zakat, tax, and customs to the local populace.
During the inauguration, His Highness praised the Kingdom's leaders for their unwavering focus on the region's projects, as well as their focus on all regions of the Kingdom, and their eagerness to provide opportunities that will contribute to the improvement of services and the attainment of citizens' well-being. Prince Turki remarked on how the newly built regional headquarters and its amenities will help achieve the targeted goals and bring its services up to par with those of other government agencies in the Asir region.
The governor of ZATCA stated that the opening of the Asir region branch would be in line with the Authority's goals of providing taxpayers and customers with high-quality and efficient zakat, tax, and customs services in a timely manner with minimal effort, with the goal of easing and strengthening zakat, tax, and customs procedures.
