The General Authority of Zakat and Tax signed, on Tuesday 6th of April, a Cooperation Agreement with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) to develop specialized academic programs to advance the Kingdom's workforce, and provide the University's graduates with the skills necessary to work in zakat and tax fields.
In signing of the Agreement, GAZT was represented by GAZT Governor Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi while PNU was represented by Rector Dr Einas bint Suleiman bin Mohammed Al-Eisa.
The most significant cooperation aspects concluded by the agreement is the development of a graduate program titled the Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation. Another fruit of the cooperation agreement is the development of a subspecialty within the Bachelor of Science in Accounting at PNU titled Zakat and Tax Track.
During the conclusion of the agreement execution, Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi said that the agreement was only a preliminary step by the Authority to establish academic programs with the different Saudi universities. In this regard, he praised Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by Rector Dr Einas bint Suleiman bin Mohammed Al-Eisa, and its keenness to establish academic programs concerned with zakat and tax.
