GAZT invites taxpayers to provide feedback on draft e-invoicing application requirements

The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has urged all taxpayers to submit their feedback and suggestions on the draft of the controls, requirements, technical specifications and procedural rules for implementing the provisions of the e-invoicing regulation published on 18th of March.

The draft comprises nine clauses that identify the scope and details of the e-invoicing application. The draft also includes the requirements for issuing e-invoices by taxpayers. The requirements identify the format and content of the issued invoices as well as recordkeeping methods for e-invoices and e-notifications and their relevant data.

The Authority has suggested that the interested taxpayers and stakeholders may express their feedback and provide their suggestions to the draft of the controls, requirements, technical specifications and procedural rules required through the 'Public Consultation Platform (ISTITLAA) indicating that the 17th of April is the last date to receive feedback and suggestions.
