 "Zakat, Tax and Customs" Wins the Award for the Best Innovative Initiative for the Second Time in a Row

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has won for the second time in a row the award "Best Innovative Initiative in Human Resources" during its participation in the Future Workplace Awards ceremony in Dubai in recognition of the success achieved by the Zakat (Tax and Customs Academy) initiative within only two years of its launch.

The Authority's obtaining this award confirms its continuous interest in the Zakat, Tax and Customs Academy since its launch. Believing that human capital is the backbone of achieving its strategy, one of its most important goals is to build an effective work system that enjoys institutional excellence and administrative efficiency in all areas of work of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, in accordance with the best standards and best practices.

The Authority's Academy aims to provide a unique and distinctive method to ensure continuous learning and development for the Authority's employees and prepare them with the knowledge and skills required to achieve the Authority's current and future goals and achieve professional development. In addition, providing professional consultations to ensure continuous learning and development, qualifying current leaders with leadership and administrative skills and knowledge, and preparing future leaders in the Authority in line with career succession plans, and developing the knowledge level of those interested in the field of zakat, tax, and customs.

It is worth mentioning that the award is for all human resources tracks and activities. Its evaluation criteria are worked on by a panel of experienced judges in the field of human resources. One of the essential conditions for submitting to the competition is that the initiative presented is linked to the strategy of the participating entity and provides evidence of the positive impact on the work system.​
