H.E. the Attorney General Saud bin Abdullah al-Mujab signed a memorandum of understanding on combatting money laundering and terrorism financing with GAZT Governor H.E. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi.

The MoU addresses ways to cooperate against the perils of such crimes. In addition to the MoU, both parties agreed to hold periodical bilateral meetings between GAZT and Public Prosecution experts, as per their respective competencies.

The MoU also involved the development of a working mechanism that contributes to the electronic linkage between the two authorities, with the aim of exchanging data and information quickly and securely, and enhancing the capabilities of the two parties in combating money laundering and terrorism financing, as per their respective competencies.​
