"Zakat, Tax and Customs" Invites Taxpayers Subject to the Withholding Tax to Submit Tax Return

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority invited taxpayers from the business sector subject to the withholding tax in the Kingdom to submit their tax return for last September before October 10th.

The Authority encouraged taxpayers to hastily submit their tax returns through the website (zatca.gov.sa) to avoid the filing fee for late submissions, which is 1% of the unsettled tax every 30 days since the due date.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority invited taxpayers from the business sector who want to know more information about the withholding tax to contact the Authority through the unified number (19993) that works 24 hours a week, Ask Zakat and Tax account on Twitter (@zatca_Care), e-mail (info@zatca.gov.sa), or through the instant chats via the website (zatca.gov.sa).

The withholding tax is one of the effective tax regulations in the Kingdom which withholds from the total income of non-resident establishments that provide services within the Kingdom according to percentages stipulated in Article 63 of the Income Tax Law.
