They harnessed all potentials and capabilities and overcame all difficulties to realize the comprehensive development that benefits the homeland and citizens, leading the Kingdom and its people to become a milestone and a shining beacon worldwide as well as a forerunner at various levels.

“The National Day represents a cherished day in hearts of the Kingdom's citizens as well as a cherished memory for all of us; it is a national occasion to remember the loyalty meanings for our country and the achievements of its late Founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. Our country's story began at that time and it is now a leading country and superior to the world countries thanks to the achievements of the leaders and people," added Abanmi.

In his statement, Abanmi emphasized that in light of the continuous and comprehensive development our country is witnessing in all fields, ZATCA enjoys, like other government organizations, unlimited support, care and attention from our wise leader; this support had an impact on the services provided, leading ZATCA to become a role model in managing Zakat, taxes and customs, and facilitating trade effectively and transparently while focusing on the customer and protecting the homeland.

Abanmi pointed out that the National Day commemoration, in addition to being a historical occasion, is an exceptional event for all, as there is a wide participation by all sectors, entities and society, and on which they review the contributions and achievements made, stating: “This commemoration coincides with a milestone for ZATCA, as a decision was issued to merge the General Authority of Zakat and Tax and the General Customs Authority, which would promote and strengthen ZATCA's role and duties towards protecting the country and building its economy during this prosperous reign, as well as would result in great contributions towards improving ZATCA's performance in Zakat, tax and customs fields".

Abanmi concluded his statement, saying: “We ask Allah Almighty to protect our country from all evil and perpetuate our homeland's security and safety".
