The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), represented by the Department of Senior Taxpayers, held an online awareness-raising workshop for the establishments operating in the industrial sector. 75 representatives of the industrial sector establishments have attended the workshop.

The workshop touched upon the journey of the business sector taxpayers on submitting their tax returns, examination and collection procedures, the steps and procedures for submitting objections and filing lawsuits to the General Secretariat of Tax Committees, as well as the Executive Regulations for the Collection of Zakat and establishment's Zakat base and its components.

 The workshop is a part of ZATCA's efforts to raise awareness of the business sector taxpayers in various fields through awareness-raising and introductory workshops held on a periodic basis. ZATCA also urges the business sector taxpayers and all concerned persons who desire to know the schedule of these workshops to follow its Twitter official account @Zatca_sa), or through “Events" page on the website (zatca.gov.sa).
