The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has achieved Level 5, the highest global ranking, in the Portfolio, Program and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3), awarded by the UK-based organization AXELOS. This national achievement reflects ZATCA’s commitment to project management excellence and the adoption of global best practices. ZATCA is the first Saudi authority to attain this advanced level in the internationally recognized P3M3 framework.
This achievement comes as a culmination of ZATCA’s systematic approach and institutional development efforts across all areas of its operations and responsibilities. Obtaining this certification reflects excellence in project management and affirms the Authority’s strong capability to implement its strategic plan and deliver projects that fulfill its objectives.
Level 5 of the global P3M3 model is distinguished as the highest maturity rating for Project Management Offices. It focuses on ensuring that practices are institutionalized and sustainable, through a clear and defined methodology that encompasses resource management, financial management, stakeholder management, risk management, benefits management, administrative control, and organizational governance.
