GAZT has been awarded a “LinkedIn Rising Star” award for being the best government organization attracts human resources in the Middle East and North Africa MENA for the year 2018. The annual LinkedIn Awards ceremony held in Dubai on Thursday 24/1/1440 H. 4/10/2018 was attended by Noura Al-Kaabi, UAE minister of culture and knowledge development alongside other government and private representatives.
“LinkedIn Rising Star” award which is distributed to six categories is presented to the organizations that use LinkedIn's human resources solutions and applications. Based on several criteria, LinkedIn team analyzed the performance and results of more than 1,000 government organizations and entities in the MENA region, Europe, South America and South Africa.
Director General of Human Capital Management at GAZT Mohammed bin Hedijan Al-Harbi said: “We are proud that GAZT has received this award, which is the first of its kind in this area. GAZT has been creating an appealing work environment, attracting outstanding national skills through the use of LinkedIn's network solutions.” He added that GAZT has become the fastest growing entity in this area in 2018, with a database of more than 80,000 candidates.
