 ZATCA Concludes Its Participation in “Made in Saudi” Exhibition

​The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) concluded its participation in the second version in “Made in Saudi" exhibition, which has been held during 16-19 October (1 – 4 Rabi Al-Thani) under the title “Made in Saudi", with the participation of more than 100 local companies in several sectors.

The participation of ZATCA, through its booth in the exhibition, is focusing on its customs services related to facilitating trade, as “Saudi Authorized Economic Operator" Priority Program is one of its most significant services, which is based on partnership concept between ZATCA and facilities. Moreover, it enhances the safety of the international supply chain along with providing more privilege to facilitate trade, in addition to identifying customs services provided by ZATCA in bonded zones and its contribution in offering attractive investment environment for the Kingdom.

Hence the participation of ZATCA in the exhibition, included workshops on import and export controls and requests, through focusing on customs clearance requirements, and identifying stages on which goods go through, as well as focusing on the importance of pre-submission of data while importing, and its effect on completing customs procedures in record time.

The participation of ZATCA is on the basis of its keenness to enhance communication with the stakeholders in occasions, exhibitions and conferences related to zakat, tax and customs areas. This in addition to assuring the role it plays in enhancing the logistic sector in the kingdom through custom service provided thereby, and within its endeavors to support whatsoever can achieve the Kingdom's vision to become an international logistic platform.  ​
