The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority participates in the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) 2023, which is held at the World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Exhibition activities start today, Monday until October 20 (5 Rabi al-thani).
During its participation in the “GITEX" exhibition, the Authority reviews the qualitative development of its technical services across various electronic platforms and its experience in developing smart systems for zakat, tax, and customs services in the Kingdom. One of the most prominent of which is its success in applying the e-invoicing system and the role of the digital platform “Fatoora" in this success.
The Authority also reviews its initiative related to facilitating and flexibility customs procedures by expanding the “Clearance within Two Hours" initiative, and the role of the “Fasah" platform in coordinating efforts between the various responsible authorities. This is in addition to reviewing the features of the digital services provided by the Authority through the real estate transaction tax platform.
During its participation in the “GITEX" exhibition, the Authority reviews its experience in the technology of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), which is known as the Digital Employee to facilitate and accelerate the completion of customer services with the highest quality standards and perform several tasks at the same time with high accuracy and flexibility. It also reviews its plans to link artificial intelligence software with manuals, smart assistant services, and many other digital services provided by the Authority through its application for smart devices (ZATCA) and the “Zakaty" application.
During its participation in the exhibition, the Authority aims to enhance opportunities for communication and cooperation with stakeholders, relevant parties, and leading technology companies to achieve its strategic directions related to updating digital services and systems and building comprehensive integrated systems through which the Authority upgrades the level of services provided, supports the business sector, and improves customer experience. This achieves the vision and strategic objectives of the Authority.
The GITEX, in its 43rd version this year, focuses on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in all fields. It is expected that a significant number of more than 100,000 visitors and more than 5,000 exhibitors from more than 170 countries will attend the exhibition, with the participation of more than 1,400 speakers.
