 GAZT launches Human Capital Transformation project

​Under the auspices of HE the Governor of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, the Authority launched a Human Capital Transformation project.

Themed “Let’s Evolve Together”, the project aims at creating a productive and stimulating work environment by applying the concept of human capital investment.

The launch event was attended by General Manager of Human Capital in GAZT Mr. Mohammed Bin Hadijan Al Harbi and Nuno Gomes, a Principal at Mercer’s Talent line of business for the MENAT region (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey).

During the event, the GAZT and Mercer signed a cooperation agreement to launch the human capital transformation project. 

Al Harbi said that the GAZT human capital department are working on a plan to develop and empower the employees and attract Saudi talents of both sexes.

The strategy of the GAZT human capital department is outlined as follows: 

Q1 2018: Job Analysis - Defining employee groups and defining tasks and duties

Q2 2018: Approving job descriptions for each department - job evaluation.

Q3 2018: Manpower Plan - Benefits and Rewards System - Performance Appraisal System - Setting up standards for transformation from a civil service model into a business model.

Q4 2018: Starting the application by moving the employees from the civil service model into the business model.

Q1 2019: Results evaluation - continuous improvement and job satisfaction measurement.

Addressing the employees at the end of his speech, Al Harbi said “With you we have a successful system. Under a visionary and inspiring leadership with the help of the talents who make us very proud, we can create a more competitive business environment".
