HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor  of Medina Province, today received H.E Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, Governor of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) and senior officials.

During the meeting, held at his office, HRH Prince Saud was updated on the latest developments related to GAZT’s readiness implement VAT in January 2018. HRH lauded the efforts of the GAZT, and encouraged them to boost their awareness campaigns about the new system. 

HRH the Prince also stressed the importance of direct communication with businesses in order to streamline their Zakat and tax procedures, and urged business to immediately start the registration process and contact the GAZT in case of any inquiries, wishing GAZT and its employees the best of luck moving forward.

For his part, Abanmi extended his warmest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prince for his reception and guidance and ongoing support for GAZT’s work in Medina.
