As part of its commitment to streamlining procedures and eliminating issues related to the electronic registration system (Erad), the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) would like to notify all taxpayers and certified public accountants that it has introduced the following improvements: ​

1. 1- Taxpayers can now submit their detailed statements by uploading an Excel file through the portal instead of filling the statements manually. 

2. 2- Taxpayers can now modify the tax declaration directly at the GAZT portal by submitting a "request to modify".

3. 3- Permanent establishments with no Saudi commercial records or licenses can be registered in the system, as the commercial register number and the tax number in the country of residence will be enough for registration.

GAZT also confirms it will continue streamlining and improving Erad's procedures for registration and submission of tax declarations. Any improvements will be announced in due course.
