31 December 2015

Geral Manager of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax’s (GAZT) branch in Mecca Mr. Abdullah H. Al Nefaie launched the e-archiving system in the branch on Tuesday 11/3/1437 AH. Acting Director of e-Archiving Mr. / Abdullah A. Al Humaidi, who attended the launch event, said that launching the system in Makkah is a part of a sequential plan to deploy the e-archiving system in all GAZT branches.

After the scanning equipment was set up in the training room, the training started with several workshops for teams of the branch and other divisions. The workshops were held in coordination with Mr. Mohammed A. Al Sheikhi, General Supervisor of the System Application in the branch.

Mr. Khalid Al Jelaify from the archiving department delivered a number of lectures on archiving, system application and the scanner installation.

Mr. Al Humaidi said that the system will be applied in two branches at once to speed up the application process, pointing out that it is expected to apply the system in all branches by the middle of this year.

Director General of Makkah Branch noted that applying the e-archiving system in the branch is a quantum leap paving the way for gradual transformation towards electronic work.

He thanked the senior management as well as the documentation committee for choosing his branch for system application.
