GAZT holds 14th meeting in Riyadh

The 14th meeting of the directors of departments and branches of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) was wrapped up on Monday 29/12/1436 AH.
The two-day meeting was held at the GAZT head office in Riyadh under Mr. Ibrahim Al Mufleh, Director General of the GAZT. 

​During the meeting, Al Mufleh noted that GAZT managed to open a number of women departments at certain branches such as Riyadh and Jeddah. 

Another woman branch will be opened in Dammam this year, Al Mufleh said. 

He noted that the Zakat and tax program is a diploma or a Master’s degree in GAZT specialties. The second class has finished the training while the fourth class has already started the training; he said stressing that such training will certainly improve the work performance at the GAZT branches. 

Al Mufleh said that the GAZT annual meetings are very important and are meant to serve the taxpayers and improve the services provided by the authority. 

GAZT will start using SAP in the next period; he said adding that training workshops were held to get the employees acquainted with the new system.
