HE Director General of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) Ibrahim bin Mohamed Al Mufleh launched a specialized training program on financial tax planning on Sunday 15/11/1436 AH, 30/8/2015 G.
The five-day training was developed and organized by the Development and Research Department.
Al Mufleh welcomed the participants from the GCC and the lecturers, Director of Taxation at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) Mr. Reda Hamzawy and Dr. Mostafa Abdel Qader.
In his speech, Al Mufleh highlighted the objectives of the training and thanked the IBFD as well as the lecturers for cooperation and contribution to the success of the program.
GAZT made use of all its potential to hold this program, Al Mufleh said, wishing it could improve the abilities of the attendees in the field of taxation and the conclusion of agreements.
The program aims to identify the current trends in international tax planning, and holding companies and finance companies tax planning.
It also covers other areas including the application of anti-tax avoidance rules, tax structures, using the hybrid instruments in the tax planning, tax conventions, permanent establishments in tax planning and electronic commerce.
