​​​​The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) held an induction workshop at its branch in Riyadh to prepare and qualify the newly appointed employees as a part of the authority's efforts to introduce new employees to their roles and responsibilities. The workshop covered several topics including a detailed introduction about GAZT and its tasks and how to deal with the website along with a demonstration of the taxation system and Zakat implementing regulations and an overview of the international tax conventions. The Authority's staff also gave a demonstration of the electronic collection system “Sadad” and the taxpayer services (including investigation, objection and assessment. The workshop was facilitated by a number of senior employees of the branch specialized in different services provided by GAZT to the taxpayers.
