His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Muhammad bin Jalawi, Governor of Al-Ahsa, received Mr. Ibrahim Al Mufleh, General Director of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT).
During the meeting, Al Mufleh briefed Prince Badr on the authority's role in collecting the Zakat from taxpayers in accordance with the rules of Sharia and distributing it among beneficiaries through the social security department.
He also shed the light on GAZT development of modern automated systems to help streamline the procedures of Zakat and tax collection.
At the end of the meeting, HRH Prince Badr thanked GAZT officials and staff of its branch in the city for the efforts exerted.
