 GAZT holds seminar on change management

​​​The Saudi General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) held a seminar entitled "the change management" which was attended by the GAZT Director General, deputy directors, a number of department heads and employees.

Automated Systems Manager Fahd Al Moajil kicked off the seminar and welcomed all attendees. This was followed by Saleh Al Awaji, Deputy Director General for Supporting Operations and Automated Systems Manager delivered a speech in which he gave a brief on the authority's accomplishments so far. 

For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Al Saheem delivered a change management speech, stressing the urgent need for understanding and implementing the change process in the coming period. 

Addressing the attendees, Mr. Ayed Al Sha'er made a presentation on the change management concept and the role of the GAZT leaders and employees, noting that they should effectively and efficiently act to manage the aspects of change that may occur in the regulatory, technical and social environments.

He also talked about the role of the change management in reducing the resistance to change and increasing the readiness of beneficiaries of the change inside and outside the authority, as well as the elements of real change, factors of success and potential risks. 

During the meeting the efforts made by the automated system administration were praised, the results of which will be come to fruition soon thanks to the Grace of God and the collective efforts and engagement of all stakeholders.

The seminar concluded with discussions and questions which stressed the importance of proceeding with the change plans initiated by the automated system department.  

The GAZT Director General stressed that the Authority will be the leader in implementing the concept of change management at the level of Saudi government departments.
